He Asked About You

Episode 2

Marcus is waiting outside Ellie's shop the next morning with two coffees and one quiet observation: Noah looks at her like she belongs to him. By the end of the day Noah has gone looking for Marcus himself — and Ellie watches the two of them shake hands on Main Street with no idea what was just agreed.

The Empty Garage

Episode 3

For the first time in seven years, Ellie goes to Noah instead of waiting for him to come to her — and finds the garage locked, the lights off, and Noah gone for a week without telling her. Then Patty walks into the flower shop, sees the black box Marcus left at the door, and asks the one question Ellie can't answer: what should she tell Noah when he calls tonight?

The Box

Episode 4

Patty leaves Ellie with a question she can't answer — and a warning that cuts deeper: she could have said no a long time ago. That would have been kinder. Alone, Ellie opens the black box. Inside is a replica of the necklace she buried her mother in — and an inscription from a man who has known her for three days. By eight o'clock she is in his car. And when Noah finally calls from a payphone two hours away, Marcus takes the phone out of her hand.

Somewhere Very Nice

Episode 5

Marcus buys out an entire lakeside restaurant for one night — the dish she used to love, the words she has waited her whole life to hear. For ninety seconds, Ellie is finally seen. Then he steps away to take a call, and she finds a velvet pouch in his jacket. A woman's wedding ring, worn smooth by years. He isn't angry she found it. He was going to show her tonight anyway. Her name was Clare — and when he slides the photograph across the tablecloth, Ellie is looking at her own face.

Tell Me What You See

Episode 6

Ellie demands the truth at the table where her world just ended — and Marcus tells her: his wife Clare vanished four years ago without a body or a note. Same face. Same scar. Same story behind it. Then he shows her how he found her: a surveillance photo of Ellie, sent to him by someone with no name. And on a dark lakeshore, a text arrives proving whoever sent it is watching them right now.

Seven Years

Episode 7

Noah is waiting on her porch at 1am when Marcus's car pulls in. After seven years of jokes instead of words, he finally says it: it has always been her. Only ever her. Her answer breaks him worse than silence ever could — "I know. I've known for three years." He drives off into the dark. And inside her locked house, someone has left an envelope that shouldn't be possible: two identical little girls, and six words about her mother.

Twin B

Episode 8

Ellie tears open the boxes she's been afraid of for five years — her mother's things. No newborn photos. A birth certificate from a hospital 300 miles from the town her mother swore she was born in. And at the bottom of a locked case: a hospital bracelet. MARSH — BABY B. B means there was an A. Then Marcus walks through a door Ellie locked — holding Clare's bracelet. Baby A. Clare carried the proof her whole life. And the morning she vanished, she left it behind on purpose.

Transfer Papers

Episode 9

Noah signed the papers. He's loading the truck. Leaving Millhaven for good — because seven years of pretending finally broke him. So Ellie does what she's never done: tells him the whole impossible truth in a parking lot. He asks for the drive to think. But on the road out of town, a grey car appears in his mirror — matching his every move. And Noah floors it under a closing train barrier.

Tonight

Episode 10

Noah promised to call tonight. When his number finally rings, it isn't his voice — it's someone calm, genderless, and holding him somewhere with no address. One instruction: St. Agnes Hospital, 10 AM, box 114. Come alone. Then, at dawn, an envelope on the windshield: a photo of Noah unconscious — and a third hospital bracelet. Baby C. There weren't two sisters. There were three.

Box 114

Episode 11

Noah wakes zip-tied in a cabin and starts cutting himself free with a mechanic's patience — while Ellie and Marcus walk into a half-dead hospital where the records clerk was expecting them. Box 114 holds a letter in her mother's handwriting: "For my girls." But before Ellie can read it, the clerk picks up a phone — and at the cabin, Noah breaks free, swings a chair at the opening door… and freezes. He knows exactly who's standing there. We don't.

For My Girls

Episode 12

Two grey cars slide into the hospital lot, and Ellie runs through the dead maternity wing with her mother's letter in her coat — thirty-year-old children's drawings still taped to the walls. Pressed behind dumpsters, she finally reads it. Her mother's voice, for the first time: twenty-three, alone, and three heartbeats. The letter ends mid-sentence — pages cut out. And leaning against their car is the detective from Clare's case, holding the missing pages and a photograph Clare gave him a week before she vanished. A young nurse cradling a newborn. The nurse is Patty.

The Nurse

Episode 13

The camera finally turns. It's Patty in the cabin doorway — Noah's mother, coat buttoned, a stranger with her face. She took him off the road to protect him. And now she confesses: thirty years ago she was the nurse who signed a paper saying a twelve-hour-old baby was dead. That baby left the hospital breathing. Ellie races home to a café that's never been closed in her lifetime — dark, with an envelope waiting behind the glass. And when Patty opens the cabin door to leave, a woman is standing on the porch. She has Ellie's face. Noah whispers "Ellie…?" The woman smiles. "No."
