The Man Who Kneels To No One

Episode 3

Cornered by Vorr clan soldiers, Serana comes face to face with their commander — Lord Draeven. He knows her name. He knows what she is. And the most dangerous man in the room does the one thing no one expected: he kneels.

The Price

Episode 4

Draeven reveals why he wants Calder dead — and the alliance is forced into fire. When the trap closes, he takes a crossbow bolt meant for her. As Serana's true power finally wakes, a silhouette rides out of the dark: her brother has come himself.

What She Becomes

Episode 5

Surrounded and out of fire, Serana's body changes for the first time — wings, scales, and a power she can't control. She brings Draeven back from the brink, and an entire army falls to its knees. But her brother only smiles — this is exactly what he wanted.

Two Dragons

Episode 6

Trapped in a monstrous half-form she can't undo, Serana learns the truth about the man helping her: Draeven is a dragon too. He's the only one who can teach her control — but the moment they grow close, Calder's men storm the camp with chains made for dragons, and take him.

What She Came For

Episode 7

Serana hunts the men who took Draeven to a fortress where kings once hid the things they couldn't kill. She finds him alive — and something far worse waiting. The father she buried twelve years ago is standing in front of her. And Draeven is screaming at her to run.

The Two Thrones

Episode 8

Her father isn't her father anymore — he's a puppet, and her brother is the hand inside him. As the trap snaps shut and a ritual begins to tear the fire from her body, Serana and Draeven share a kiss they're sure is their last. Then her real father breaks through, for one heartbeat, with three impossible words.

The Cost

Episode 9

She can't kill her father. So Serana does the only thing left — she gives him everything. Maren reveals a secret of her own to break the spell, and the possession shatters. But breaking it comes at a price no one is ready to pay.

What Comes After

Episode 10

Out of the ruins, Serana carries the people she couldn't save and the truth she can't outrun. Her father's last words name an enemy bigger than any throne — and as she finally chooses the man beside her, something vast and black turns its head on the horizon. It has been waiting for her.

The Chase

Episode 11

Serana chases the Black Dragon across the sky — and it leads her to its ancient graveyard. There she learns the truth: she is the last of its bloodline. It wants to take her "home."

No

Episode 12

Serana refuses. The dead of the graveyard rise, and she and Draeven barely escape — but the dragon doesn't chase them. It doesn't need to: the mark is already spreading through her body. The only thing that can stop it is the ritual of a hidden old order.

The Door

Episode 13

They reach the order's hiding place, guarded by a masked sentinel and a deadly riddle. Together they solve it and get inside — but the order is not what they hoped. They worshipped the Black Dragon, and their "cure" completes the transformation. And they're not dead — they've been waiting for her.

Becoming

Episode 14

Surrounded by the half-transformed order, the mark reaches Serana's eyes — and she starts to turn into one of them. Draeven pulls her back with the one thing stronger than the pull: her choice of him. They escape using her mark as bait — but learn the only real cure costs a life. The life of someone who loves her.

His blood

Episode 15

Draeven finally admits the cure's price: it kills the one who performs it — and he means to be the one. After their first real night together, he brings Serana to his own clan for the unbinding ritual. But the Vorr haven't forgiven him for leaving — and they'd rather kill the Black Dragon's heir than save her.

The Bargain

Episode 16

A woman from Draeven's past steps out of the crowd — Vessa, his promised bride. The clan's offer: he honors the promise and marries her, and Serana lives. Serana makes the choice for him. He says "I accept" — and Vessa winks... at Serana. This was never about a wedding.

The Wedding

Episode 17

Forced to watch the man she loves marry another, Serana learns Vessa's true game: heartbreak makes the mark ripe for harvest — the wedding itself is the weapon. At "I do," Serana turns in front of the entire clan. And this time, Draeven's voice can't reach her. Her claws close around his throat.

He Stayed

Episode 18

He could fight her off. He doesn't. His hands stay on her face as she chokes him — and his choice to die rather than let go reaches where words couldn't. Serana pulls herself back. But Vessa's harvest was interrupted — and when her eyes flicker black, the truth lands: the Black Dragon never stopped coming. It sent a woman instead of an army.cc

He Comes Himself

Episode 19

Vessa comes at night to finish the harvest — and Serana wakes the whole clan to witness what their bride really is. The marriage shatters, and for the first time, Serana and Draeven's fires join as one flame to drive her out. But Vessa leaves smiling — she already has what she came for. Then a dying rider crashes through the gates with impossible news: the capital is gone. Ash, overnight. The Black Dragon is done sending.
